Scaling images in Macromedia Director MX04Jan-20-06, 2:16 am by HanfordFile under: Shockwave, Adobe, Director, Macromedia I'm looking for a method to scale images down in Director that provides better quality than CopyPixels or sprite scaling. Here's an original: ![]() Here it is scaled to 225 width in Photoshop:
Here it is scaled to 225 width in Director MX04:
All three images were saved using the same JPG saver at the same quality level. Notice the edges on the S in the Director version? They're anti-aliased, but they're also a bit jagged and rough. The Photoshop scaled version shows nothing like that. UpdateI've found a solution! Here's what it produces:Bilinear Resampling image:
